Role Summary/Purpose:
    The Sales Account/Channel Specialist will report to the NGS Sales Director for North America. This role will be focused on achieving our channel and direct account revenue growth objectives, while building plans with our partners to focus on continued growth.The Sales Manager will be responsible for covering the NGS (Natural Gas Solution) products with established channel partners and key accounts throughout the United States.
Essential Responsibilities:
    In the role of Lead Sales Manager you will:

  • Create and manage relationships with account personnel such as purchasing, engineering, senior management, user groups, standards, works with ComOps and product managers to negotiate contracts
  • Work with accounts to introduce and train users on products / services
  • Investigate complaints and works with technical support to address and resolve
  • Collect information and report overall industry / assigned territory market intelligence, competitive activity, customer identified needs for products / service, successes and losses from ComOps activity, business outlook (forecast) for bookings, expenses incurred in conducting territory business
  • Learn and comply with all GE policies
  • Manage channel partners to assign and achieve sales goals in their segments
  • Network with other GE personnel in Oil and Gas and Measurement and Control to promote GE “solutions”
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Natural Gas Industry Eligibility Requirements:
  • Ability and willingness to travel, as required
  • Ability and willingness to live within the following states: Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Carolinas, Texas, California, Arizona, Nevada, and is highly recommended to be near a major airport

  • Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office
